Product introduction

MEPUS SBL is an underwater local three-dimensional positioning system based on short hydroacoustic baseline positioning technology and integrated using an extended Kalman filter (EKF).The system overcomes the disadvantages of the traditional acoustic positioning method in the Z axis and the problem that the positioning results are disturbed by the carrier attitude, and has the characteristics of low cost, high precision and simple deployment. The typical positioning accuracy is 1% of the slope, the maximum positioning radius of single beacon can reach 1000 meters, the one-way acoustic communication ability of beacon to the matrix, support the simultaneous positioning of multiple beacons, and the positioning range can be infinitely expanded without compromising the positioning frequency.

Performance parameter

Typical positioning accuracy is 1% of the slope, depending on the usage environment, and superior in open water.

The maximum positioning radius of a single beacon can reach 1000 meters (measured in open water), and the positioning range can be infinitely expanded in multi-beacon mode.

Positioning frequency is up to 16Hz.

The maximum number of simultaneous positioning targets can be up to 16.

It has the ability of unidirectional acoustic communication from beacon to array.

Multi-sensor combination positioning improves the performance of a single sensor, making the positioning results have less outlier and are more reliable.

Using FPGA + DSP processing architecture, easily deal with a variety of complex calculations.

Adaptive gain control, without concern about signal intensity weakening with distance, causes localization failure.
